The press reports of Asbestos problems at the Burswood Peninsula have seen little or no response by the WA Government.

The Public Health website has no release about the problems, and our call to the Health Ministers office as Joe Public was a 'do not know' and transfer to Health Department and a phone ring around.

A Liberal Government, if re-elected, will give people the ability to purchase alcohol without a meal at restaurants and also end an out-dated restriction which places an unnecessary burden on some bars with alfresco areas.

Funding to specialised schools helping students with social, emotional or behavioural difficulties will be increased to $4million over four years under a Liberal Government.
 
Education Minister Peter Collier said the money would go to Curriculum and Re-engagement in Education (CARE) schools which currently enrol more than 800 disengaged students across 10 sites.

The Buswell Bras Snapping issue back in October 23, 2007 had wife of the Transport Minister saying 'it does not define him'.

Allegedly drunk Mr Buswell unclipped a Labor staffer's bra at Parliament House, and his wife forgave him.

Premier Colin Barnett today announced six new Child and Parent Centres across Western Australia to provide vital services for vulnerable families with young children.
 
Speaking at the Western Australian Council of Social Services New Year Sector Breakfast today, Mr Barnett said this would bring to 16 the total number of centres to be established at public primary school sites offering child development, health and parent support programs and services.
