Ministerial Release

Due to the critical issue of land release in the Pilbara, $540,000 of State Government Royalties for Regions funding has been allocated through the Pilbara Cities Economic Diversification Framework to support faster processing of land.

Ministerial Statement

 

The Liberal-National Government has allocated $45,000 to a community project in the Wheatbelt dedicated to protecting the rare and endangered Carnaby’s Black Cockatoo.

Agriculture and Food Minister Terry Redman said funding, through the State Natural Resource Management (NRM) program, would go to the Moore Catchment Council to enhance feed sources for the bird.

Ministerial Statement

Regional race clubs across the State will share in $6.6million increased State Government Royalties for Regions funding for racecourse infrastructure to be built in the next three years.

Racing and Gaming Minister Terry Waldron today announced the Racing Infrastructure Grants Program (RIGP) would be increased to $19.6million to be spent at racing venues throughout Western Australia.
