Barnett Woodside Gang Up on Broome Community

Greens candidate Chris Maher has questioned the latest secrecy in the Browse LNG Development in Broome.

Broome Council was requested to keep secret documents that show impact of James Price Point on the local Broome community.

The Browse project headed by Woodside and includes partners Shell, BP and BHP.

In what has been described as the potential to be perceived as attempts to stop the flow of information to local Broome residents before the WA 2013 Election the Department for State Development under the control of the Premier has requested the reports be kept secret.

Such nonsense the Government is similar to asking people to walk through a minefield unaided.

Greens candidate Chris Maher has announced he will call for a parliamentray inquiry if elected over the James Price Point Gas Hub issue.

The #wa2013vote website will be kept online so politicians promises and statements can be checked until the end of next WA election in 2017, and after.
