Job Confusion at Peel Health

Current job roles in the Public Relations Department of Peel Health Campus have got to a very confusing stage, reflecting it seems the problems besetting the Hospital.

Liberal candidate for Mandurah Tony Solin is still listed as the Public Relations Director on his Linkedin site.

The Hospital website lists Liz Drew as the Public and Community Relations Manager, however we have been informed she has left the state and the role after only 30 days, whilst Neale Fong involved as Managing Director of the hospital.

Our information is Drew is terrified and does not wish to go on the public record.

In 2011 Justin walker was listed as the CEO in the Annual Report, and Fong was not mentioned as part of management team.

Solin was still Public Relations Director in August 2012 during his election campaign interviews, and it appears in October 2012 moved from the role, about the same time Fong was appointed Managing Director.

Further amongst this is the disappearance of Naomi Quinlivan of Candy Stripe that use to also do public relations for the hospital.

Fong also worked with Quinlivan in her PR role whilst Fong Chairman at Bethesda Hospital.

Solin has stated on the Liberal website has given up role as Public Relations Director.

Tony Solin has stated in local interview has held senior management roles at Peel Health Foundation and Peel Health Campus since 2000.

There is no information on the website of CEO being replaced, or appointment of an Managing Director, or for how long.

In view of the interest in the Peel Hospital issues and it is ran on behalf of the community it should be simply good management to have correct and relevant information in the public domain.

The #wa2013vote website will be kept online so politicians promises and statements can be checked until the end of next WA election in 2017, and after.
